Everyone.net Names Meenakshi Tripathy as VP of Product Management and Marketing
Industry Veteran's Messaging Expertise to Strengthen Everyone.net's Presence in the Service Provider Market
SAN JOSE, Calif., November 27, 2007 – Everyone.net (www.everyone.net), the leader in hosted messaging services, announced the appointment of industry veteran Meenakshi Tripathy as vice president of product management and marketing to continue the company's growth in the service provider sector and accelerate the development of new messaging services.
"Meenakshi has an ideal blend of deep domain expertise in email and messaging along with proven success working with and penetrating the service provider marketplace - which is our key strategic focus," according to Michael Rose, CEO of Everyone.net. "Meenakshi was responsible for product strategy for Openwave's messaging business unit which, during her tenure, grew to serve 100 carriers and cable operators and to deploy 185 million mailboxes worldwide. We couldn't ask for a more perfect background."
Tripathy's 12 years of messaging, corporate planning, and product management experience includes driving the product strategy within Openwave's messaging business unit, where she was responsible for the email, anti-abuse, mobile email and multimedia messaging (MMS), voicemail and smart call services product lines. Prior to Openwave, Tripathy held positions at Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Oracle Corporation and The World Bank.
